Review: The Grand Budapest Hotel (Dir. Wes Anderson, 2014).

Adored The Grand Budapest Hotel tonight. All the charm, wit & style you'd expect from Wes but brilliant depth too. It is fascinating to see him effectively deal with issues of war & immigration amidst what is one of his most stylish & funny films. Every performance is sublime & gloriously choreographed, especially those of Ralph Fiennes & Tony Revolori as the leads. Anderson still has such a distinct & unique command of the frame, his passion for cinema & storytelling is inspiring, beautiful & exhausting.

Then again, I'm a fan so I would say that! Do go and check it out, it's mint.
